Learning Objectives for August Forum

1. The participant will be able to define what is the Zero Brownstone concept, where did this idea originate from and compare how this design concept differs from conventional brownstone renovations.
2. The participant will be able to enumerate at least three challenges green contractors may encounter when employing sustainable practices for new construction projects or building renovations.
3. The participant will be able to discuss at least three strategies green contractors, architects and designers can employ when trying to convince the builder or property owner to incorporate sustainable design and energy efficient technologies into building projects.
4. The participant will be able to define the term “integrated design” and how to ensure the proper translation from design to construction so it may prove advantageous to the building process.
