Forum AIA Registration
GreenHomeNYC is registered for learning credit with AIA/CES. For the August 2010 forum, Working with contractors, we are providing 1.5 HSW and SD credits. You must pay $15 in advance to receive credit.
Credit is only given if you purchase beforehand from this webpage, via PayPal. We cannot offer credit at the door.

Learning Objectives for August Forum
- The participant will be able to define what is the Zero Brownstone concept, where did this idea originate from and compare how this design concept differs from conventional brownstone renovations.
- The participant will be able to enumerate at least three challenges green contractors may encounter when employing sustainable practices for new construction projects or building renovations.
- The participant will be able to discuss at least three strategies green contractors, architects and designers can employ when trying to convince the builder or property owner to incorporate sustainable design and energy efficient technologies into building projects.
- The participant will be able to define the term “integrated design” and how to ensure the proper translation from design to construction so it may prove advantageous to the building process.

To register for AIA credit for the August 2010 forum, please fill out up to five names below and click Submit. After confirming your details, you will be redirected to PayPal to submit payment. On the day of the forum, please let us know that you’ve signed up for credit when you arrive. If you register from this page, you don’t need to sign up via the regular forum RSVP.
