GreenHomeNYC is registered for learning credit with AIA/CES. For the February 2010 forum, we are providing 1.5 HSW and SD credits.

Learning objectives:

The participant will be able to describe at least six sustainable careers outside the realm of “green tech” professions and list at least three strategies that were taken by the speakers that propelled them from entry-level jobs into mid and senior-level sustainable positions.

The participant will be able to differentiate the role of a sustainable professional from that of others employed in a similar discipline and explain how women are redefining what it means to be a “green professional” without a formal background in engineering or technology.

The participant will be able to describe how shifts in sustainable perspective can influence the following sectors: landscape architecture, water conservation, building design, HVAC and finance and list how these changes have been advantageous for each field.
