Join the Building Energy Exchange for our new Gallery Talk series, which marries technical presentations from industry experts with the interactive content of our Lighting the Future advanced lighting exhibit. These lunch-time sessions will guide attendees on configuring, selecting and installing the most advanced lighting, shading, and control systems available, and how those systems can maximized convenience, savings, and flexibility.
By embracing the “internet of things” movement, advanced lighting control systems can harness real-time data on occupancy, temperature, and daylight to control lighting levels as well as communicating with other systems like energy management, vertical transportation, and room scheduling. This talk will discuss how an advanced sensor network can capture energy savings and improve facility management through data collection.
