Heatsmart Brooklyn believes local and global Climate Week participants share a common goal: to promote the transition of our cities so we can all live, work, and play in energy-efficient buildings. The Heatsmart Block Party will unite local residents and visiting guests to celebrate caring for our planet and learning how to raise our engagement in protecting our climate. The free event will feature education and job opportunities, self-guided tours of sustainable homes and businesses, including those where owners have reduced their carbon footprint, and an amazing block party, where Brooklynites will kick-off Climate Week with live music, dancing, and great food. Join us at this highly interactive event to learn how our climate action can also improve comfort and generate economic development.
