Join us for an important, pre-primary forum for a deep dive on where the candidates stand on the environment
Did you know that because NYC is so heavily democratic, the primary elections that will be held on June 22 will likely decide who will lead us and navigate a post-covid NYC?
Did you know that 61 seats are up for us to vote on and that early voting starts on June 12? It’s not only the mayor’s race that counts– 51 city council seats, 5 borough presidents, 1 comptroller, 1 public advocate are all up for grabs! To make things even more interesting, we will try out rank choice voting for the first time.
Join GreenHomeNYC on June 16th to become familiar with where the candidates stand on the environment, how rank choice voting works and to get into a deep dive on some energy and land use issues.
In addition to the forum, our monthly volunteer orientation will take place starting at 6p. If you’re interested in joining GreenHomeNYC as a volunteer, please review opportunities on our website, and register for a monthly orientation on Eventbrite.
