New York City Transit’s new Stillwell Terminal Train Shed will be equipped with a 210 kW thin-film PV array integrated into a modular skylight system. When complete, it is anticipated that the array will supply 250,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year to the terminal facility. The triple arched skylight will span over 4 platforms and 8 tracks, and will give New York City Transit’s largest terminal a major civic presence.
