Codes and Rules Affecting NYC Buildings

Many recently promulgated NYC laws designed to protect the public, to ensure building safety and to reduce our carbon footprint require compliance measure. Every year at CNYC’s November Conference, property management expert Gregory Carlson and architect Leon Geoxavier present a class updating the laws and rules put forth in the preceding year. At this meeting, they will look into current compliance requirements – generally for larger buildings relating to energy use, to facade safety, to building systems and to resiliency in resisting and recovering from possible disasters. This class is free to CNYC members and subscribers but advanced reservations are required. Non-members are welcome at a fee of $50 payable in advance.
