Join Green City Challenge for fun and educational activities for the entire family at our Eco-Carnival. Play interactive games to learn how you can live, work and eat green in New York City and have fun at the same time! Games, Art, Food and Music.
The New York Mandolin Ensemble will be playing for your enjoyment in the Garden from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. Wonderful Raffle Prizes as well!
This event is free and open to everyone!
The Annual Green City Challenge Eco-Carnival will be Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 12 noon – 4 pm at La Plaza Cultural Community Garden, Avenue C and East 9th Street in the East Village of Manhattan.
Green City Challenge is a not for profit organization based in New York City that educates people about ways to live, work and eat green. We do this with interactive games and challenges that teach New Yorkers about recycling, energy conservation, green building, sustainable agriculture and more.
