Tour one of New York City’s oldest community composting programs! The Lower East Side Ecology Center in partnership with the NYC Compost Project divert over 450 tons of food scraps from landfills annually. Get a first hand look at how food scraps are turned into compost and how compost helps to rebuild NYC’s soil health.
