Staten IslandGreen Drinks and Green Building Worldwide holds reception to benefit neighbors affected by Hurricane Sandy!   Plan to join us for cocktails and conversation to benefit neighbors affected by Hurricane Sandy on Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, at the beautiful Z-One Lounge. Expect a lively mix of professionals from business, non-profit, academia, and government. Everyone invites someone else along.   Network for a cause and discuss ideas on sustainability and the rebuilding of our communities.   Expect a lively mix of professionals from business, non-profit, academia, and government. Optional Speed Networking and tasty green drinks – RSVP in advance required.   Admission: Free (suggested donation to any Relief Charity of your choice and/or bring non-perishable items).   Here are two charities working to aid Sandy victims:   Project Hospitality (www.projecthospitality.org) Empire State Relief Fund (www.empirestaterelief.com) Green Drinks is not affiliated with any of the organizations listed and all donations are made in the name of and directly to the intended Charities.   Admission includes door prizes, optional speed networking, exciting venue, and parking. Green Building Worldwide affords access to timely and relevant resources. We advocate for environmentally beneficial and green building projects and methodologies. Our forums & roundtables provide diverse segments the opportunity to convene with panelists and experts regarding proposed legislation, trends, environmental projects and products. We continue to be an independent voice.   International is a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you’ll be made welcome. Just say, “are you green?” and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.
