In the healthcare sector, where a key tenet is to “first do no harm”, aspects of building upgrades that improve occupant health and patient outcomes can be a driving force in gaining support for sustainability and energy efficiency projects.
Join Building Energy Exchange for a presentation by industry experts of how sustainability efforts in the healthcare sector lower energy use and create healthier indoor environments, and some of the technology and systems that make this work possible.
Specific topics will include intelligent ventilation measurement and optimization and other data-driven technologies that currently provide energy efficient solutions to healthcare facilities, as well as various New York City hospitals’ broader approaches to energy efficiency through retrofits and new construction projects.
Following the presentations, there will be a moderated discussion with the speakers.
