TEDC Earth Day Celebration – Earth Matters: Designing our Future

In celebration of Earth Day 2015, The New School’s Tishman Environment and Design Center (TEDC) hosts Earth Matters: Designing our Future, a daylong event featuring workshops, pop up classes, and discussions on climate action and sustainability spanning the disciplines. Topics range from environmentally friendly fashion design, sustainable food systems and urban green spaces. Culminating in a keynote presentation by Rhea Suh, President of the Natural Resources Design Center, and a creative presentation and musical performance by Paul D. Miller aka DJ Spooky, the event highlights a new direction for the Center, with a focus on building scalable community models for carbon neutral living.
