This month, we’re taking a thorough look at in-home composting. Master composter, Celeste McMickle, will walk us through strategies for composting at home as well as the tools and resources needed in order to do so.

RSVP here!   Meet our instructor, Celeste McMickle:   Celeste is trained in architecture but transitioned to the sustainability field and LEED consulting six years ago and hasn’t looked back. She currently works at Steven Winter Associates here in New York City as a green rater and sustainability consultant. Her interest in compost roots back to childhood memories of time spent in the family garden but has grown considerably throughout her life as gardening and farming hobbies evolved into a passion and skill that she incorporates into as many facets of her life, including her professional work. She learned most of what she knows about compost through the fantastic NYC Master Composting program which has trained hundreds of New Yorkers interested in helping to create a more sustainable and healthy city.
