With just about one year finished with a new Mayor and new City Council, this forum will focus on some of the new policies and actions New York City has seen under this administration, as well as see some of thing things that are on the horizon for Environmental Policy in the City with new political figures. Join us for what will be an interesting and lively dialogue!

Elizabeth Wisman Strojan, Research and Policy Fellow, Enterprise Community Partners, Inc.
Elizabeth joined the New York office of Enterprise in July 2013. During her first year, she identified the need for and created the State and Local Policy Department. Elizabeth now directs the state and local policy work, ensuring that Enterprise plays a leading role in policy coalitions, builds strategic relationships with policy makers, and provides key analysis and recommendations both internally and to the larger affordable housing industry. Her portfolio includes issues of affordable housing finance and preservation, family homelessness, and green and sustainable building in New York City and State. Prior to joining Enterprise, Elizabeth worked as a Paul D. Coverdell Peace Corps Fellow at University Neighborhood Housing Program, a non-profit affordable housing organization in the Bronx. Elizabeth holds a dual Masters degree in Economics and International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University. Before moving to New York, Elizabeth served as an Environmental Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Madagascar and a volunteer coordinator for her alma mater, Centre College in Kentucky.
Clare Donohue, Founder, Sane Energy Project
Clare Donohue is a kitchen and bath designer living a secret life as an activist. She is one of the founders and now the Program Director of
Sane Energy Project, a grassroots organization that advocates to replace fossil fuel infrastructure with renewable infrastructure. Sane Energy recently launched YOU ARE HERE, an interactive online map that demonstrates all the pipelines, compressor stations and other shale gas infrastructure in New York State, and connects users to the local grassroots group fighting these projects. The map illustrates the risks to our foodshed, connecting to another Sane Energy campaign, Food Not Fracking.
Stacy Lee, Policy Advisor, NYC Mayor’s Office of Long-term Planning and Sustainability
Stacy Lee serves as a Policy Advisor for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability. She coordinates building energy and water data collection, analysis, and policy implementation for private sector energy efficiency efforts and PlaNYC, New York City’s sustainability plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent by 2050. Stacy holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and is LEED Green Associate accredited with the U.S. Green Building Council. She also received an Executive Education Certificate in Urban Informatics and City Analytics from the New York University Center for Urban Science and Progress. Prior to her master’s program, Stacy earned dual Bachelors of Arts and Science degrees in English and Conservation and Resource Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
