This project was awarded through a NYC HPD Cornerstone RFP and developed under the NYC Housing Development Corporation's Affordable Coop Program with financial assistance from the NYS Affordable Housing Corporation, SONYMA, the Bronx Borough President and NYSERDA. The building is enrolled in NYSERDA's Multifamily Performance Energy Star program and the USGBC's LEED for Homes program. - On the corner of Fox Street and Leggett Avenue. Train - The Prospect Avenue station of the 2 and 5 subway lines which provide access to Manhattan’s East and West sides is within six blocks. The Longwood Avenue and East 149th Street stations for the 6 line are both within three blocks of the building. The BX19 bus is located 1 block away and provides access to Upper Manhattan via W145th Street and the North Bronx (Bronx Zoo, Botanical Garden and Fordham University) via 149th Street and Southern Boulevard. The Bx19 also provides linkages to over 12 other Bronx Bus lines, 10 Manhattan bus lines and the 1, 2 ,4 & 5 trains.
