  • This is a solar electric installation at the 6BC Botanical Garden, a community garden (on NYC Department Parks and Recreation land) in lower Mahattan. There are six unisolar 64 watt modules, supplying DC electricity for a waterfall, low watt lighting, small appliance charging, and some AC electricity for computers or cel phones and small sound systems. The modules are mounted on top of the toolshed/library, and the grape arbor.

  • The 6BC Botanical Garden is located at 624-628 east 6th Street, midblock between Avenue B and C in Manhattan.
    By car, take the FDR drive to Houston Street, go West, until Avenue B, go North until 6th Street and take a right, its is between Avenue B and C.
    By train take the F to 1st Avenue, walk north to 6th St, and take a right ( to between Ave B and C). Or take the R to Astor Place walk east to Ave A, go south to 6th Street, and go East.
